Novels are deceptively hard to write? And I've never applied to an MFA even though I've thought about it for nearly two decades(!) now because paperwork is scary. You applied, to more than one, that's a lot! And they're fools to not take you.
Rejoice in the love that has found you! This note on love and its fav attendant, betrayal and heartbreak, had me thinking about success within similar borders. Maybe at 33, heteropatriarchy is a stepping stone, a passage to be able to go to the grove of deep self love. See you next year is the only thing that saddens. One whole year?
